A face of your own

Three ways to make the initial of someone without a photo into a small, glossy, multicolored icon. Each person’s look is random when they join and theirs from then on. Every row is the same eight people, on the light page and the dark one.

A, Marble

Soft swirls of three colors, like a marbled glass bead, with a bright shine near the top.

How a look is kept

Each person gets one number when they join, stored on them in place of F014’s color. Its last three bits choose their main color from eight (poppy, rose, berry, orchid, violet, indigo, lagoon, jade), always one nobody in the trip has yet until there are more than eight people, as colors work now. The rest of the number sets their other colors, the angle, where the glow sits and the swirl. Nothing is orange, so nothing reads as terracotta, which stays for money.

The letter is white with a soft shadow. Measured on the rendered bubbles with the letter hidden, the middle of every one gives it at least 4.8:1 on the light page and 5.7:1 on the dark one, in all three directions. Light veins, glints and shine stay out at the rim.
